2ND/3RD YEAR HEAVY VEHICLE APPRENTICE

    MEGT (Australia) Ltd is seeking enthusiastic 2nd or 3rd year Heavy Vehicle Automotive Apprentice who wants to have a career as a heavy vehicle mechanic. Through this apprenticeship you will be exposed to the facets of the Heavy Vehicle Mechanical trade whilst attending trade school in order to complete your qualification (Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology - Heavy Vehicle)

    This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge in this industry and be part of a great team. The successful applicants will learn all aspects of servicing and repairs. The duties may involve but not be limited to:

    •Brakes
    •Major and minor transmission repairs
    •Major and minor engine repairs
    •Fault Finding
    •Steering and Suspension

    As this position involves a lot of labor and manual work applicants must be able to undertake this kind of physical work.

    All applicants must possess strong work etiquette and a strong work commitment, they must be able to work in a team environment and have a strong passion for completing this qualification and having a career in the automotive trade.

    The completion of a related automotive pre-apprenticeship course will be highly regarded.
