We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Landscape Architect to join a busy Council located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Our client is easily accessible by public transport and offer their staff a healthy work / life balance and the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects.
Employed as a Senior Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for the management of design and construction of capital works program. You will also provide advice on technical issues, manage consultants, produce reports, develop policies and liaise with internal and external key stakeholders.

As the ideal candidate you will have/be:
- A Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and / or Project Management, or relevant working experience
- A Senior Landscape Architect with previous experience ensuring the delivery of Council projects and streetscapes
- Proficient with the use of AutoCAD and design packages, including Photoshop
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage design and construction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A solid understanding of Local Government policies and procedures
