Required Experience:

• Over 2 years in IT or network support within an investment, front office/ trade floor environment
• Prior support, troubleshooting, configuration of FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol & connections
• Strong communication skills & ability to work with senior management, non-technical end users and preferably brokers

Desirable Experience:

• SQL, Oracle, Sybase or other RDBMS querying
• Active Directory & Microsoft Server 2003/ 2008 administration
• Support of portfolio management, settlement, FIX & other trade specific software products & applications
• Formal education in IT/ Computer Science or Commerce/Finance
