Store Person / Fitter - Mount Waverly in Logistics, Transport & Supply Jobs

This is a well established company that is currently in the process of expanding to the suburb of Mt Waverly. They are seeking a mechanically minded individual for their production warehouse. You will need to be able to work without supervision, priorities tasks well and have the ability to work under pressure. Product training will be provided.

Duties include:

• Inward/outward goods processing
• General warehouse duties
• Product Assembly/Modification (training provided)
• Heavy lifting
• Stock control / Stocktaking
• Re-ordering of stock
• Freight Co-ordination

You will need to be a team player with outstanding communication skills. Strong self motivation and initiative is favoured as well as basic computer skills.  The role is varied so you will need to be focussed, able to multitask and think on your feet; physical fitness is a must as some heavy lifting is involved.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Warehouse organisation
• General Cleaning duties
• Stock management
• Auditing of stock
• Storage duties
• Preparation work

The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, wanting a “career” in the industry, have strong computer skills, current drivers licence, fluent in English, forklift licence preferred but not “essential”  and an ability to work unsupervised.
