Our Leadership Is Stuck In The Horse-and-buggy Days

In 1908, the first Model-T Ford was built. By the time World War II started, horse-drawn transport had virtually disappeared. In those 30 years, many businesses and jobs were abolished or transformed. Those who had to adapt included farmers, feed merchants, saddlers, harness-makers, cart drivers, horse dealers, drovers, blacksmiths, farriers, grooms and vets. Livery stables closed.
